CONTROL 2026
The United Kingdom Automatic Control Council (UKACC) International Conference on Control is the biannual conference of the UK Automatic Control Council, the UK national member organisation of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC). This year the conference is jointly hosted with the ACE Network.
CONTROL 2026 will be held as an in-person event in Newcastle upon Tyne, hosted by Newcastle University. The conference will include keynote presentations, technical sessions, extended abstracts, and poster sessions, with participation from both academia and industry.
Newcastle upon Tyne, often known simply as Newcastle is the United Kingdom’s fourth-largest city and a leading centre of culture, creativity, and innovation. Its name derives from the castle commissioned in 1080 by William the Conqueror’s eldest son, Robert Curthose. Located in the northeast of England on the north bank of the River Tyne, Newcastle forms a unified metropolitan destination with its neighbouring town, Gateshead, situated on the south bank.
Together, Newcastle and Gateshead offer an exceptionally vibrant and welcoming environment for visitors and major scientific events. The region combines world-class cultural institutions, distinctive heritage and architecture, award-winning dining, excellent accommodation, and a lively social scene, making it an outstanding setting for academic exchange and collaboration.
We warmly invite you to join us for a productive and engaging ACE & UKACC Control Conference 2026, hosted in one of the UK’s most dynamic and inspiring conference destinations.
