Newcastle International Airport
Taxis are available at the airport. You can either approach the information desk for guidance or book directly at the ‘Arrow Taxis’ desk.
The Metro provides a convenient and affordable option. Select the A+B+C zone ticket if you are travelling directly from the airport. The nearest Metro station to the Frederick Douglass Centre, is St James Station, which is a 6-minute walk to the conference venue.
Newcastle Central Station
Newcastle Central Station is the city’s main rail hub, offering connections from across the UK, and is located about 15 minutes’ walk from the conference venue, or use the Metro to reach St James Station.
